Following the new directives from the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ), effective May 1, 2017, Photoderma clinics must meet the following standards in order to offer professional injection services and comply with provincial law:

all collective prescriptions written to date for the purpose of performing injections for cosmetic purposes are no longer applicable;

any patient (including patients who have received injections to date pursuant to a collective prescription) who wants to receive injections for cosmetic purposes must undergo a prior medical evaluation in order for Dr. Moyal to establish an individualized treatment plan;

this treatment plan may be performed by Dr. Moyal himself or be the subject of an individual prescription issued to a nurse or nursing assistant, with reference to a protocol, if applicable.
