L\u2019\u00e9pilation\u00a0\u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re puls\u00e9e (IPL) demeure la m\u00e9thode la plus rapide et la moins douloureuse en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9pilation laser, sans compromettre l\u2019efficacit\u00e9.\u00a0 Le fonctionnement de la lumi\u00e8re puls\u00e9e repose sur la destruction du pigment des poils (m\u00e9lanine) par accumulation de chaleur dans le bulbe (racine), emp\u00eachant ainsi sa repousse.<\/p>\n
Il est possible de traiter toutes les r\u00e9gions du corps, \u00e0 l\u2019exception du contour de l\u2019\u0153il.\u00a0 G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, entre 8 et 10 traitements sont n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9pilation d\u00e9finitive du poil. Il faut laisser de\u00a06 \u00e0 8 semaines entre chaque s\u00e9ance.<\/p>\n
Avant le traitement, on \u00e9vite une exposition prolong\u00e9e au soleil et l\u2019utilisation d\u2019autobronzant. L\u2019\u00e9pilation \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re puls\u00e9e est contre-indiqu\u00e9e aux personnes qui font usage de m\u00e9dicaments photosensibilisants. \u00c0 la suite du traitement, on remarque, dans 5% \u00e0 10% des cas, des boursoufflures (semblables \u00e0 celles caus\u00e9es par une piq\u00fbre de moustique) ou une br\u00fblure b\u00e9nigne, tel un l\u00e9ger coup de soleil. Pour pr\u00e9venir le risque d\u2019inflammation, on \u00e9vite, pour une p\u00e9riode de 24 heures, les bains prolong\u00e9s, l\u2019exposition au soleil, l\u2019application de d\u00e9sodorisant et les efforts physiques afin d\u2019\u00e9viter la transpiration.<\/p>\n
Contrairement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9pilation \u00e0 la cire, il n\u2019est pas n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019attendre l\u2019apparition d\u2019une longue repousse pour effectuer un traitement. Le poil doit \u00eatre frais ras\u00e9, l\u2019\u00e9nergie atteindra alors le bulbe pileux. Il faudra toutefois attendre 4 semaines \u00e0 la suite d\u2019une \u00e9pilation \u00e0 la cire, \u00e0 la pince ou \u00e0 la cr\u00e8me d\u00e9pilatoire pour faire un traitement. Gr\u00e2ce au syst\u00e8me de refroidissement int\u00e9gr\u00e9 de l\u2019appareil, il y a moins de risques de br\u00fblures cutan\u00e9es. De m\u00eame, ce type de laser cible plus directement le poil. On \u00e9vite ainsi les effets de surpigmentation ou de d\u00e9pigmentation des peaux fonc\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
